About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for a role where your warmth and patience truly matter? We’re seeking a caring and attentive Nanny to join a welcoming family in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Dubai. This isn’t just about supervision—it’s about shaping joyful daily experiences, building trust, and providing genuine comfort to a little one. If you’re passionate about supporting a child’s early growth, enjoy creating structured, happy routines, and see yourself as a steady, positive presence, you might be the one we’re looking for.
About the Family
Let’s set the scene: this is a lively household in the heart of JVC, where care, kindness, and laughter shape each day. Our family values open communication, safety, and a homey atmosphere. They appreciate a Nanny who brings both fun and structure—someone as at ease at story time as they are negotiating veggies at mealtime. While the schedule is steady, you’ll find flexibility and understanding are a given; after all, it’s about what works best for everyone, especially the child.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with daily needs like feeding, bathing, and dressing the child in a gentle, attentive manner
- Planning and engaging in age-appropriate play—think creative games, singing songs, and plenty of reading time
- Helping maintain and encourage established routines (meals, naps, bedtime rituals) to ensure a sense of security
- Handling light housekeeping tasks related to the child: tidying toys, organizing clothes, keeping eating and play areas clean
- Following instructions from parents carefully, with a keen eye for detail and a spirit of collaboration
- Communicating openly about the child’s day, milestones, or any concerns—no question too small
- Creating a safe, caring, and nurturing environment while respecting the family’s values and preferences
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Genuine love for children and patience to match—trust and compassion are the foundation here
- Some prior experience in a childcare or nanny role (home or professional settings are both welcomed)
- Ability to follow routines and take direction from parents with care and attentiveness
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and a positive, friendly attitude
- Good communication skills (spoken English essential, other languages a plus)
- Respect for privacy and household boundaries
Nice-to-Haves:
- First Aid or CPR certification
- Familiarity with child nutrition and developmental milestones
- Experience working with families in Dubai or similar settings
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive monthly salary: AED 2,000–3,000, based on your experience
- Friendly, supportive family environment where you’ll feel valued—not just another employee
- Located in JVC—safe, family-friendly, and convenient for commutes
- Opportunity to create strong bonds and see the positive impact of your daily care
- Respect for your downtime: fixed hours with consideration for your rest
- Open communication—your thoughts, feedback, and wellbeing are important here
