About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself making a whole office run smoother just by being the one everyone counts on? We’re currently on the lookout for an Office Boy/Girl who genuinely enjoys keeping things humming along behind the scenes. This is more than just filling cups of tea or handling basic errands — it’s about helping a diverse team feel organized, supported, and ready for anything. If you thrive on variety and making a difference, this might just be your next big move in Dubai’s bustling business district.
About the Company
Nestled in the heart of Al Nahda 1, inside the iconic Mai Tower, our team thrives on everyday collaboration and camaraderie. We’re a close-knit group where every role is visible and valued, no matter your job title. From spontaneous staff lunches to Friday laugh sessions (even though that’s our official day off!), our culture is built around openness, respect, and mutual support. We operate in a fast-paced environment but always find reasons to share a joke or a story between tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests warmly as the first point of contact — your friendly face sets the tone for the whole office.
- Preparing hot and cold beverages (yes, knowing the difference between “normal tea” and “extra strong” will earn you bonus points!).
- Keeping meeting rooms tidy and stocked with supplies before and after use.
- Managing daily office cleanliness like wiping down workspaces and keeping common areas spotless.
- Handling requests for photocopying, scanning, basic document handling, or running quick errands.
- Helping the admin staff with small delivery drop-offs or pickups within the building.
- Monitoring inventory for pantry, cleaning products, and office supplies — nothing runs out on your watch!
- Assisting with occasional event setup or light decorating when the office marks a special occasion.
What You’ll Bring
- A reliable, punctual mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Respect for privacy and a “discretion is key” approach when handling confidential items.
- Good communication skills — even if it’s just letting someone know their coffee is ready.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in shared workspaces.
- Physically able to be on your feet for most of the day and handle light lifting if needed.
- Prior experience in a similar support or hospitality role is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to speak basic English (other languages are always a plus!).
Not sure you match every single point? Reach out anyway—we love meeting applicants eager to learn and grow.
