About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about how a fresh coat of paint can absolutely transform a space? We’re searching for a Painter who takes pride in the details — someone who knows that quality prep and the right touch make all the difference between “good enough” and “wow.” If you’ve honed your skills with brushes and sprayers and love seeing your work brighten up walls, homes, or businesses, this could be your next project (and possibly your new crew).
About the Company
Here, painting isn’t just a job — it’s a craft, and our team treats every project as an opportunity to create something lasting. We’re a close-knit group with a shared respect for hard work, friendly banter, and an eye for precision. You’ll notice that we celebrate small wins together, and there’s always someone ready to lend a hand or swap a story. While growth keeps us busy, we never lose sight of quality or safety — and yes, pizza Fridays do happen (brushes down at noon).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing surfaces with care: sanding, patching, cleaning, and priming to ensure flawless finishes
- Mixing paints and matching colors to achieve the perfect hue for each project
- Applying paint, varnish, or stains using brushes, rollers, or sprayers, depending on what the job calls for
- Using drop cloths and tape like a pro to protect furniture and floors
- Keeping an eye on material inventory and reporting when supplies run low
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace — because efficiency and safety go hand in hand
- Following safety protocols at all times and keeping tools/equipment in top shape
- Collaborating with teammates or occasionally working independently, depending on the scope of work
- Communicating with customers clearly and professionally on-site
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a painter (residential or commercial settings — both count!)
- In-depth knowledge of the best practices in surface prep, paint mixing, and application
- Familiarity with different materials and how to use brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Solid understanding of job-site safety standards
- Ability to work solo or as part of a coordinated team — you’re comfortable in both settings
- Reliability, punctuality, and a can-do attitude
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with specialty finishes or commercial painting tools
- A keen eye for color matching or basic patchwork/drywall repair
- Willingness to train apprentices now and then
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive, timely pay — your hard work won’t go unnoticed
- Paid sick days and overtime opportunities for busy seasons

Bottom line? You’ll join a team that actually cares about the work, from the first coat to the finishing touches. If you’re ready to bring your skills and pride in your craft, we’d love to meet you.
