About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Looking for a change of pace and a caring work environment?
We’re a warm, respectful family based in Khalidiyah, Abu Dhabi, and we’re searching for a part-time, live-out housemaid who feels more like a helping hand than just household staff. If you enjoy keeping a home sparkling clean and appreciate being somewhere you’re genuinely valued, this opportunity might be what you’re looking for. Our weekdays run from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Sunday to Friday), and we believe kindness and trust go a long way.
About Us
Life in our home is welcoming, quietly busy, and centered around family values — honesty, respect, and a cheerful spirit matter more to us than perfection. You’ll quickly notice that we treat everyone with courtesy, and “thank you” is said often around here. While we keep a tidy house, we don’t expect superpowers; just care and attention in every task. If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, you’ll fit right in. We also believe in open, friendly communication — if you need help or have an idea, we want to hear it!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out thorough daily cleaning of living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens
- Laundering clothes, including careful handling of delicates and ironing as needed
- Keeping household supplies and cleaning products organized (and letting us know if anything’s running low)
- Assisting Madam with simple day-to-day tasks when needed — sometimes an extra pair of hands makes all the difference
- Ensuring the household runs smoothly and quietly, with a discreet and thoughtful touch
- Bringing a positive attitude to interactions with the family — a kind word goes a long way here
