About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for a job where every day feels fresh—literally? As an Employee at our Fruits & Vegetables Shop in Dibba Al Fujairah, you won’t just stand behind a counter; you’ll be a friendly face in the community, helping customers find the ripest tomatoes and the crispiest apples. If you thrive on interaction, enjoy organized spaces, and have an eye for a perfect peach, we think you’ll find your niche here.
About the Company
We’re a local shop that’s been part of Dibba Al Fujairah’s daily rhythm for years—some customers come in just to chat and see what’s new on the shelves. Our team is tight-knit, and while we might get a little competitive over who can create the best produce display, we always look out for one another. That sense of community extends beyond our walls: we take pride in offering healthy, high-quality produce that families rely on every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and recommend produce with a smile
- Carefully arrange fruits and vegetables so everything looks appealing and easy to find
- Handle tasks at the cash register (don’t worry, just basic math)
- Assist with weighing and bagging purchases when needed
- Regularly clean and tidy the shop floor and displays to ensure everything’s inviting
- Keep an eye out for produce that needs refreshing or rotating (no one likes a wilted lettuce!)
- Work with your teammates to maintain a smooth flow even when the shop gets busy
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in the fruits and vegetables trade (that’s a big plus, but we love fast learners)
- Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic; English skills are a nice bonus
- Friendly attitude and a genuine desire to help people
- Basic math skills—for those quick calculations at the cashier
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and tackle both the fun and not-so-glamorous tasks
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Supportive team environment—we help each other out, always
- Opportunity to learn about fresh produce and new stock every week
- Fair schedules and reasonable working hours
- Staff discounts—bring home your favorite fruits and veggies
- Clean, well-organized workplace you can take pride in
- Local customers who appreciate your work and say hello by name
You won’t just have a job—you’ll be part of a shop that feels like a second home, all while bringing a little more freshness to the community, one basket at a time.
