Responsibilities

As a School Bus Driver, your primary duty is to safeguard the journey of every student aboard your bus. Your daily tasks will include:

• Safely transporting students between designated pick-up and drop-off locations, strictly adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintaining punctuality to ensure students arrive at school and return home on time.
• Ensuring student safety at all times, including supervising boarding and alighting, enforcing bus safety rules, and monitoring behavior during transit.
• Conducting routine inspections and performing basic maintenance checks on the bus to ensure it remains in excellent operating condition.
• Reporting any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to the transportation supervisor or maintenance personnel.
• Adhering to all UAE traffic regulations and school transport policies to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
• Communicating effectively with school staff, parents, and students to address any concerns or special requirements.
• Responding calmly and appropriately in case of emergencies or unforeseen situations.

Requirements

We are seeking a responsible and attentive individual who meets the following criteria:

• Valid UAE driving license with the required category for operating a school bus.
• Proven track record of safe and responsible driving, ideally with prior experience in transporting children or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of UAE traffic laws and local road safety regulations.
• Patient, reliable, and responsible personality, with a genuine commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations with composure.
• Good communication skills to interact respectfully with students, parents, and school staff.
• Physical capability to conduct pre-trip inspections and assist children as needed.
