About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Thinking about hitting the road in a role where reliability truly matters? We’re searching for a Delivery Driver who brings professionalism and a sense of pride to every trip around Al Karama, Dubai. If you enjoy keeping things moving, appreciate efficiency (and a good, smooth drive), and want a position that genuinely values safety and punctuality, this opening could be tailor-made for you.
About the Company
Our company is a tight-knit operation that believes a good day starts with a supportive team and ends with a job well done. We’re growing steadily, yet our managers still know everyone’s names—and yes, we do celebrate birthdays (and sometimes just making it through a tough week). Our success is built on trust, honesty, and the small wins—like a perfectly executed delivery route or a van so clean you could eat your lunch in it (not that we recommend it).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling the accurate and on-time delivery of goods to various locations across Al Karama and wider Dubai.
- Carefully managing assigned delivery routes for efficiency, always aiming for safe travel—even through the odd rush-hour challenge.
- Performing daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, ensuring your vehicle remains in tip-top, roadworthy condition.
- Coordinating with dispatch and the wider team if any delivery or traffic issues arise—open communication is a must for us.
- Safely loading and unloading packages so everything arrives in perfect shape.
- Keeping delivery records up to date, whether on paper or via a mobile app, as required.
- Providing friendly, respectful service at every customer drop-off point—our drivers often represent the face of our business.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Prior experience as a delivery driver in the UAE (familiarity with Dubai routes is a definite plus).
- Valid UAE driving license (manual or automatic—let us know your preference).
- Solid track record of punctuality and responsibility—you’re the one friends trust to be on time for the airport run.
- Basic vehicle maintenance know-how; changing a tire or topping up fluids is no problem.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers, even on busy days.
- Commitment to safe and courteous driving.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with delivery mobile apps or navigation systems.
- Previous experience with goods handling (especially if it’s been in a fast-paced setting).
- Multilingual skills (our team and customers are wonderfully diverse).
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: AED3500 – 4000, paid on time every month.
- Full benefits including company visa, accommodation, and a transportation allowance—you keep more of what you earn.
- Medical coverage so you and your family can rest easy.
- Supportive team with a straightforward approach—no unnecessary bureaucracy or surprises.
- Regular hours (overtime when it happens is always compensated).
- Opportunities to learn new routes, handle different goods, and, if you’re keen, grow into training or dispatch roles.
Here, it’s about getting the job done with a sense of community and mutual respect. If you’re ready to make each mile count with a company that values what you bring to the table, we’d love to get to know you.
