About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ready to Run the Show? We're Looking for a Store Manager Who Leads from the Front.
Managing a retail store is a bit like conducting an orchestra — every section has to be in tune, from the stockroom to the shop floor, and someone needs to keep the rhythm steady. That's where you come in. We're searching for a Store Manager to take the reins at our International City branch in Dubai, someone who can balance the numbers with the human side of retail. If you've ever wanted a role where your decisions shape the day — and the team around you — keep reading.
About the Company
We've built our reputation on consistency: the kind of store where customers come back not just for the products, but because they know they'll be treated well. Our International City branch sits in one of Dubai's busiest, most diverse communities, which means no two days look the same — and honestly, that's what keeps it interesting.
We're at a stage where good people genuinely move the needle. There's no red tape for the sake of it, no layers of approval just to get things done. If you have a good idea for improving how the store runs, we want to hear it. And yes, we celebrate the small wins too — a strong sales week or a customer compliment usually means someone's getting recognized for it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take ownership of day-to-day store operations, from opening routines to closing checklists, making sure everything runs smoothly even when it's busy.
- Drive sales performance by keeping an eye on targets, spotting trends, and adjusting tactics when something isn't working.
- Lead, coach, and schedule your team — because a well-supported team is a high-performing team.
- Keep inventory tight: monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and reduce shrinkage before it becomes a problem.
- Handle customer escalations with grace, turning a frustrated shopper into a loyal one whenever possible.
- Make sure the store stays compliant with company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations.
- Report on performance metrics and collaborate with regional management on store goals and improvements.
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in retail management — you've run a store or a department and you know what that entails.
- Strong leadership instincts: you can motivate a team, give honest feedback, and step in when things get tough.
- Solid grasp of sales analysis, inventory systems, and basic P&L principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English; the ability to connect with a multicultural team and customer base.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak retail periods.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in the UAE retail market or familiarity with International City's customer demographics.
- A track record of reducing shrinkage or improving store KPIs.
- Fluency in Arabic or another language spoken widely in the community — helpful, but not a dealbreaker.
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you. Sometimes the right person brings something a checklist can't capture.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary with performance-based incentives — your effort shows up in your paycheck.
- Career growth is real here; several of our regional managers started behind a counter.
- Supportive team culture where questions are welcome and ideas don't get ignored.
- Paid time off and public holiday benefits in line with UAE labor law.
- Ongoing training on systems, leadership, and customer experience — we invest in you because it pays off for everyone.
- Employee discounts across our product range, because yes, you deserve them too.
At the end of the day, this is a role for someone who takes pride in running a tight ship but never forgets that retail is a people business. If that sounds like you, we'd genuinely enjoy getting to know you better.
