About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it takes to keep a fleet running like clockwork, even when the road ahead is bumpy? As our Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be the linchpin ensuring every vehicle in our lineup is road-ready, safe, and compliant—no matter what surprises the day holds. If you enjoy blending hands-on troubleshooting with team leadership (and appreciate the satisfaction of a well-oiled machine), this is an opportunity to make a real difference where precision and dependability matter.

About the Company

At DriveForward Fleet Services, we’re not your average logistics outfit. We thrive on finding practical solutions to complex transportation challenges, and our reputation rests on a reliable, meticulously maintained fleet. Our team is lively, collaborative, and never short on caffeine—let’s just say banter in the break room during early-morning rollout is practically a tradition. As we continue to grow in both size and scope, there’s plenty of room to build new processes and see your ideas in action.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating a team of mechanics and technicians to deliver top-notch vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Overseeing the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program, scheduling service intervals, and keeping meticulous records so compliance isn’t just a box to check—it’s second nature.
  • Diagnosing complex vehicle issues (sometimes with a helpful metaphor or two) and guiding your team through creative, cost-conscious solutions.
  • Keeping a close eye on maintenance spend and parts inventory—think of it as “budget ninja meets procurement sleuth.”
  • Communicating with drivers and dispatch to minimize vehicle downtime while still prioritizing safety.
  • Ensuring all maintenance documents are up-to-date and audit-ready because regulatory visits shouldn’t be nerve-wracking.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and bringing those ideas to life—if there’s a better way, we want to hear about it.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in vehicle or fleet maintenance (trucks, vans, or mixed fleet—let’s talk specifics).
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience, however small the team.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and safety/compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for wrangling schedules when needs change fast.
  • Comfort with maintenance management software, work orders, and digital recordkeeping.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • ASE or OEM certifications—always a plus.
  • Past experience optimizing costs without cutting corners.
  • An eye for process improvement or Lean/Kaizen training.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and overtime opportunities when the job calls for it.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Generous PTO program (because rest is essential).
  • Company-matched retirement plan (planning for your future, together).
  • Support for upskilling and certifications—you grow, we grow.
  • Friendly environment where collaboration and a good sense of humor are treasured.
  • On-site breakroom with free coffee and regular lunch-and-learn sessions.
  • Hybrid schedule options for those days when paperwork takes priority.
  • Real room for career growth—your initiative won’t go unnoticed.

At DriveForward, we know maintenance is about more than wrenches and checklists. It’s the heart of our business, and you’ll have both autonomy and support to make it shine.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

  • Our team is known for its sense of humor and camaraderie. How do you build rapport with colleagues and create an enjoyable workplace?
  • If you noticed a recurring safety compliance issue among staff, how would you address it while maintaining trust and respect within the team?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a salary of at least 7,000–10,000 AED per month for a Maintenance Supervisor role in the UAE's fleet and logistics sector, especially if you have supervisory experience and strong technical know-how. Similar roles at established logistics or transport companies often offer compensation within this range, with higher figures possible if you bring relevant certifications or proven expertise in process improvement and compliance. Given the job’s blend of hands-on management and technical oversight, don’t hesitate to negotiate for the top of this bracket if you have specialised experience.
