About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever thought about becoming the linchpin that keeps construction sites ticking like clockwork? We're looking for a Storekeeper with a construction background to join our busy team in Al Quoz, Dubai. If you’re already in the UAE and passionate about order, reliability, and keeping projects running smoothly, this isn’t just another job—it’s an opportunity to bring your skills to real, high-impact work. Whether you’ve looked after supplies on a sprawling high-rise or supported a fast-moving fit-out crew, you know how crucial your expertise is in this industry.

About the Company

We’re a well-established contracting company with a downright bustling materials yard in Al Quoz—think cranes overhead, delivery trucks coming and going, and a team that prides itself on precision. Our office culture finds energy in the everyday hustle, but there’s plenty of camaraderie, too. Everyone here, from the engineers to the crew on the ground, values clear communication and resourcefulness. We’re driven by deadlines, but we celebrate project wins (and birthdays) together, and you’ll always find someone willing to help you get up to speed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing the daily receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials—everything from cement bags to specialized fittings
  • Updating inventory records promptly and accurately, using our electronic system (no more paperwork mountains!)
  • Conducting regular stock checks to keep discrepancies to a minimum
  • Coordinating with site supervisors and procurement for urgent materials requests—sometimes at the last-minute, sometimes before your morning coffee
  • Ensuring the store area is organized, safe, and compliant with company standards
  • Inspecting incoming deliveries for quality and quantity; reporting any shortfalls or damages
  • Creating clear, concise handover notes at the end of every shift
  • Lending a hand with monthly inventory audits and assisting with logistics as needed

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Storekeeper in the construction sector (UAE experience a definite plus)
  • Strong organizational skills—you spot a missing bolt from a mile off
  • Confidence with inventory control systems (MS Excel, or inventory software)
  • Familiarity with construction materials, suppliers, and local lingo
  • The ability to work legally and currently residing in the UAE

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Forklift or pallet jack experience (but if not, we’ll show you the ropes)
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-project environments
  • Knowledge of basic workplace safety practices

Not sure you fit every single requirement? Don’t hesitate—we encourage you to reach out.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive, dependable monthly salary (AED3500–AED5000, based on your experience and skills)
  • Steady, long-term projects with reputable industry partners
  • Supportive team atmosphere: your hard work is noticed, not taken for granted
  • Growth opportunities—if you show initiative, there’s room to take on more
  • Multi-cultural work environment where respect is the default
  • Convenient Al Quoz location, accessible from major Dubai neighborhoods

We’re committed to making our workplace both efficient and welcoming. Here, you’ll never be just a number (but you will manage a lot of them in stock records!). If you care about quality, teamwork, and making a tangible impact on every project, you just might find your place with us.

  • What actions do you take if you notice discrepancies or damage in deliveries? Can you give an example from your previous role?

  • If you’ve been involved in monthly inventory audits, can you share how you prepare and whether you’ve ever had to resolve significant stock mismatches?
