Responsibilities

As an Architectural Draftsman, your role will be pivotal in translating visionary architectural concepts into detailed, executable plans. You will:

• Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using industry-leading drafting software.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design intentions and deliver accurate technical documentation.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to local UAE building codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Revise and update drawings in response to team feedback, project changes, or client requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines within the project team to ensure seamless integration of architectural elements.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation, ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
• Support the project team during on-site visits, clarifying design details and resolving technical queries as needed.
• Stay updated with new drafting technologies and best practices to continually enhance the quality and efficiency of your work.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman within the UAE, specifically in contracting environments for architectural companies.
• Proven proficiency with CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar industry-standard tools).
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, construction standards, and local regulations.
• Ability to interpret architectural concepts and translate them into precise technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Currently residing in the UAE (applications from outside the UAE will not be considered).
• A diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
