What You’ll Be Doing
- Translating architectural concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Coordinating closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure all drawings meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing and updating drawings as projects evolve, making sure every revision is precise and documented.
- Conducting site visits to verify dimensions and gather on-the-ground information for more accurate drafting.
- Assisting with the preparation of submission documents to Dubai authorities, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
- Supporting the team in resolving design challenges—sometimes under tight deadlines, always with a solutions-first mindset.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2–3 years of architectural drafting experience within a UAE-based contracting or architectural firm.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Revit or similar software is a plus).
- Solid understanding of Dubai’s building regulations and municipal requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality.
- Currently residing in the UAE (applications from outside the UAE cannot be considered).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working on mid- to large-scale commercial or residential projects in the region.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
