Responsibilities

As a Florist on our team, you will be entrusted with a range of creative and customer-focused duties, including:

• Designing and Assembling Arrangements: Create visually stunning floral displays and bouquets tailored to customer preferences and special events such as weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, and other celebrations.
• Bouquet Wrapping: Employ expert wrapping techniques to enhance the presentation of every bouquet, ensuring each piece stands out.
• Color Coordination: Select and combine flowers, foliage, and decorative accessories with a keen eye for harmonious color schemes and innovative design.
• Customer Engagement: Listen to customer requests, offer design suggestions, and ensure their complete satisfaction with each order.
• Flower and Material Care: Monitor the freshness and quality of flowers and materials, proactively removing wilted items and arranging stock rotation for optimal display.
• Event Set-Up: Assist in the planning and on-site arrangement of flowers for events, ensuring all displays meet client expectations and our high company standards.
• Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate records of stock levels, anticipate supply needs, and communicate requirements to management.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to brainstorm new arrangements and seasonal offerings, fostering a cooperative and supportive environment.

Requirements

To excel in this role and contribute meaningfully to our team, candidates should possess the following:

• Proven Experience: Previous hands-on experience as a florist, with a portfolio showcasing your floral arrangement and bouquet wrapping skills.
• Creativity & Innovation: Ability to generate fresh ideas and execute them with precision and flair.
• Attention to Detail: Strong sense of aesthetics, color coordination, and design balance.
• Customer Service Skills: Comfortable interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional service.
• Efficiency: Quick and skillful execution of tasks, especially during peak seasons or tight deadlines.
• Adaptability: Willingness to take on varied responsibilities and adapt to the fast-paced nature of the business.
• Basic Communication Skills: Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and handling flowers and materials throughout the workday.
