Key Responsibilities

• Safe and Timely Deliveries: Transport goods to various destinations in and around Dubai, strictly adhering to scheduled timelines and all road safety regulations.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the van to ensure it is always in optimal working condition. Report any faults or necessary repairs promptly.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are handled with care and delivered in perfect condition.
• Route Planning: Utilize your strong knowledge of local routes to select the most efficient paths, avoiding traffic congestion and ensuring prompt deliveries.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, including proof of delivery and any customer feedback, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Customer Service: Uphold a high standard of professionalism when interacting with clients, addressing their questions courteously and representing the company positively at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and dispatch coordinators to synchronize delivery schedules and optimize workflow.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License: A current and clean UAE driving license is mandatory for this position.
• Experience: Prior experience as a delivery or van driver within the logistics or warehousing sector is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Local Routes: In-depth familiarity with Dubai’s roads, traffic patterns, and major delivery areas.
• Physical Fitness: The ability to lift, carry, and move goods as needed for loading and unloading.
• Reliability and Punctuality: A strong track record of dependability, time management, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Attention to Detail: Careful handling of goods and precise completion of delivery documentation.
