About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Have a knack for bringing people together and making things happen? As an Account Manager at WAVEMEDIA, your days will be all about keeping clients smiling, internal teams synced, and creative campaigns running on time. This isn’t just another account gig — in Sharjah’s fast-evolving digital landscape, there’s never been a more exciting time to shape how brands connect with their audiences. If you’re eager to build long-term partnerships and see your strategic touch in real results, we’d love to get to know you.
About the Company
WAVEMEDIA isn’t your average digital agency. Our office on Maleha St might be in the industrial heart of Sharjah, but the energy inside is anything but old-school. Here, designers, storytellers, and marketing wizards collaborate in a genuinely supportive environment — and there’s always a fresh pitch brewing over strong Arabic coffee. Open feedback, shared wins, and an appetite for trying new things are in our DNA. Fridays? Those are for creative showcases (and, okay, maybe a little friendly banter over the week’s memes).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts—fielding questions, solving problems, and building real relationships.
- Coordinating kickoffs, creative briefs, and updates between clients and our content, design, and digital teams.
- Monitoring project timelines and making sure everyone hits their marks (think of yourself as the calm in the storm).
- Reviewing, organizing, and scheduling content calendars to keep social channels buzzing and on-brand.
- Gathering feedback from clients and turning it into clear, actionable next steps for the team.
- Spotting opportunities to upsell or expand our services—always with integrity, never with hard sales tactics.
- Jumping in with your own social media ideas or campaign suggestions when inspiration strikes.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 1–3 years’ experience in Account Management or Digital Marketing.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and basic content strategy.
- Excellent communicator — whether you’re writing a project update or hopping on a Zoom call.
- Strong organizational skills (your Google Calendar is your second brain).
- Problem-solving mindset; you know how to juggle priorities without dropping the ball.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with design or project management tools (think Trello, Asana, or Canva).
- Previous agency experience or experience dealing with multiple clients/accounts.
- Can thrive in a bilingual (Arabic/English) environment.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary and regular performance reviews.
- Hybrid work options—mix your week between our creative studio and WFH flexibility.
- Clear growth paths into Senior AM or Strategy roles (we love to promote from within).
- Supportive team culture — birthdays, big wins, and milestones don’t go unnoticed.
- Ongoing training in digital trends, creativity, and client management.
- A truly collaborative place where every voice counts.
At WAVEMEDIA, you’ll feel both challenged and championed. If you get a kick out of seeing campaigns go live and enjoy the buzz of client collaboration, this could be your place.
