About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Join Us as an Agricultural Engineer in Abu Dhabi
Curious about how innovation is reshaping agriculture in the UAE? Here’s your chance to see it firsthand. Our team is looking for a dedicated Agricultural Engineer ready to help transform local landscapes and create lasting impact in government-led agricultural initiatives. If you’re passionate about sustainable growth, and want to work where your expertise shapes tomorrow’s environment, this could be your next chapter.
About Us
We’re not your average agricultural company. Based in Abu Dhabi, our team brings together tradition and cutting-edge technology to support the city’s ambitious green projects—large and small. You’ll find a warm, collaborative culture here, where technical expertise meets real-world challenges. There’s a spirit of camaraderie (yes, even during our Monday morning catch-ups) and a shared sense of purpose that comes from working on projects you can actually drive by and point to. We tend to celebrate progress—sometimes with a quick coffee on the terrace, more often with a high-five in the field.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of agricultural and landscaping projects, especially those in partnership with government clients.
- Evaluating and optimising irrigation systems to support sustainable, water-efficient landscapes across the region.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project specifications are meticulously met.
- Conducting site inspections to monitor ongoing work, troubleshoot issues, and offer actionable recommendations.
- Preparing documentation, technical reports, and proposals for both internal stakeholders and government partners.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians and field staff—helping everyone get their hands a little dirty (figuratively and literally).
- Staying on top of regulatory standards, new technologies, and emerging trends in local agriculture and landscaping.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with agricultural or landscaping projects—bonus points for government work.
- Proven expertise in irrigation systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong analytical skills, combined with the ability to translate plans into practical, workable solutions onsite.
- Clear, professional communication in both English and (ideally) Arabic.
- Familiarity with local UAE environmental regulations and project standards.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses.
- Supportive, close-knit team where collaboration actually means something.
- Opportunities for professional growth, from new certifications to working on groundbreaking projects.
- Flexible work hours and a healthy balance between field and office work.
- Casual, respectful environment—no rigid hierarchy, and everyone’s ideas get airtime.
- Office location in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site project visits and occasional remote work.
In short, you’ll join a team that values your expertise, trusts your judgment, and truly appreciates what you bring—not just to the projects, but to the culture we’re building every day.
