About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to steer a team of engineers while staying hands-on with world-class projects? As our next Engineering Supervisor in Al Ain, you’ll do just that—and more. We’re looking for someone who thrives on both the technical and people sides of engineering. If you’re eager to bring your AutoCAD know-how (and your big-picture thinking) to a growing team in the heart of the UAE, you just might be the person we’re after.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit engineering firm based in Al Ain, working on a dynamic mix of construction and infrastructure projects across the city. Our team is serious about quality work, but we’re just as committed to supporting each other’s growth—nothing gets built alone here. You’ll find genuine camaraderie, a dash of healthy competition, and plenty of lively debate about the best engineering solutions. Friday team lunches? A regular perk. Ideas are welcome from everyone—our best innovations often start as a scribble on the breakroom whiteboard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and inspiring a talented team of engineers and site staff, assigning tasks and offering guidance along the way.
- Reviewing project plans, CAD drawings, and documentation—your eagle eye for detail will keep our standards high.
- Running regular meetings to discuss project timelines, technical hurdles, and creative solutions (no two days are ever quite the same).
- Coordinating raw material deliveries and inventory, ensuring nothing holds up production or site progress.
- Liaising with vendors, suppliers, and other teams to keep communication smooth and transparent.
- Occasionally visiting project sites around Al Ain—company car at your disposal, of course.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid hands-on experience with AutoCAD (and familiarity with other key engineering software).
- Previous track record of managing small teams or leading engineering projects.
- Strong, proactive personality—you’re comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility.
- Valid UAE driver’s license.
- Willingness to work onsite in Al Ain.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience coordinating materials or logistics for engineering projects in the UAE.
- Conversational Arabic or other language skills (not a dealbreaker, but they help!).
- Familiarity with the unique challenges of working in the Al Ain region.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Company-provided accommodation steps from the office—settling in is a breeze.
- Company car for work (and short commutes around town).
- Competitive starting salary (AED3500 to AED5000), with room for advancement.
- Supportive, respectful team culture—your voice is genuinely valued here.
- Opportunities to lead from the front and shape projects, not just follow instructions.
- Real impact on the growth of our company and on major projects in Al Ain.
If you’re ready to take the wheel (sometimes literally) and help us build something lasting, we hope you’ll join our journey.
