What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and managing detailed BIM models for a variety of architectural and engineering projects, ensuring accuracy right down to the smallest element.
- Creating clear, construction-ready drawings and documentation that set each project up for success.
- Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate their input efficiently into the modeling process.
- Reviewing and troubleshooting model conflicts or design challenges—solving problems before a single brick is laid.
- Keeping up with the latest BIM standards, tools, and industry best practices—your input here matters, and we want your voice at the table.
- Training or mentoring junior team members, sharing pointers on both the art and science of great drafting.
- Participating in coordination meetings and occasionally visiting project sites for a firsthand sense of what’s taking shape.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a BIM Modeler or Draftsman on large-scale projects (bonus points for UAE/GCC project exposure).
- Advanced proficiency with BIM software (we use Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD).
- Strong eye for detail and a knack for visualizing spatial relationships in 3D.
- Good communication skills—whether you’re explaining a design tweak or listening with an open mind.
- A proactive, collaborative spirit (you know how to work as part of a multidisciplinary team).
Nice-to-Haves
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with LEED or other sustainable building documentation.
- Familiarity with clash detection software.
- Working knowledge of local UAE building codes and standards.
