What You’ll Be Doing
Car Mechanic
- Diagnose, repair, and service a range of vehicles—both common models and the occasional surprise.
- Tackle everything from oil changes and brake jobs to full engine rebuilds.
- Communicate honestly with customers, offering expert advice and transparent updates.
- Work with a well-equipped shop (and colleagues who love to troubleshoot together).
- Keep up-to-date with new automotive technologies and techniques on the job.
Auto Electrician
- Pinpoint and repair electronic and electrical faults, from dashboard issues to complex control systems.
- Install, upgrade, and service car electrical components—alarms, audio, lighting, and more.
- Collaborate with mechanics to get vehicles fully road-ready.
- Use diagnostic tools and stay current with the latest in-vehicle tech.
- Ensure all electrical jobs meet safety standards and customer expectations.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Must-Haves
- Demonstrated experience in car mechanics or automotive electrics (depending on position).
- Familiarity with all types of vehicles, makes, and models.
