What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting customers with a welcoming attitude and assisting them at the checkout counter
- Accurately processing cash, card, and sometimes credit transactions
- Ensuring all receipts, invoices, and records are up-to-date and organized
- Handling returns or exchanges with patience and professionalism
- Keeping your workspace tidy and fully stocked with supplies
- Collaborating with sales and warehouse teams to answer customer questions about products or order statuses
- Reporting any discrepancies or cash shortages to management promptly
- Sometimes jumping in to help with light administrative tasks or customer queries—it’s a team effort here
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous cashier experience, ideally in retail, wholesale, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and handling both cash and card payments
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for numbers
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus, but not a must)
- Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine sense of responsibility
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in building materials or hardware sectors
