About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever pictured yourself as the eyes and ears on a bustling construction site, ensuring precision and quality at every stage? Here’s your chance to step into a pivotal role as a Civil Engineer (Site Supervision) with an engineering consultancy known for its hands-on approach. In today’s ever-evolving construction industry, on-site expertise isn’t just valuable — it’s essential. This opportunity is ideal for a civil engineer who enjoys a healthy mix of on-the-ground action and technical challenge, making a real impact on live projects every day.
About the Company
We’re a growing engineering consultancy office with a reputation for excellence—and a little bit of a perfectionist streak when it comes to structural integrity. Our team is built on open communication (weekly site huddles with real talk, not just checklists), professional growth, and the belief that the best solutions come from those who see the project from the dirt up. We support each other, celebrate safely delivered projects, and yes—sometimes get competitive about who’s had the muddiest boots by week’s end.

- Coordinating closely with contractors, site workers, and project managers to resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently
- Conducting regular inspections and quality checks, documenting progress, and flagging any discrepancies or safety risks
- Preparing and submitting clear, concise site reports and progress updates for the consultancy office and client
- Attending site meetings and actively participating in discussions about construction challenges and solutions
- Acting as a technical resource for the site team, clarifying design intent and standards when needed
- Keeping a sharp eye on timelines and proactively addressing anything that could slow down the project
