About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to keep the heart of a busy organization beating smoothly? As a Document Controller with us in Barsha, Dubai, you’ll be the backbone of our operations — the person who ensures everything is organized, accessible, and in perfect order. If you thrive on details and love making sense of complexity, this is your chance to join a company where your diligence truly matters. We believe in welcoming fresh perspectives, so UAE experience isn’t required; what matters is your knack for staying on top of things and your dedication to getting the job done right.
About the Company
We’re a dynamic, forward-focused business based in the vibrant Barsha district—a location that mirrors the spirit of our multicultural team. Growth isn’t just a buzzword here; it’s something we live, with team members encouraged to bring new ideas to the table. You’ll find an environment that values reliability and clear communication (Friday coffee at the office is our weekly tradition, and yes, it’s as much about sharing laughs as sharing updates).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Organizing, updating, and maintaining company records—think of yourself as the gatekeeper who keeps the paperwork flowing.
- Receiving, tracking, and archiving incoming and outgoing documentation, both in hard copy and digital format.
- Coordinating with project teams and managers to ensure documents are filed accurately and are easy to find whenever they’re needed.
- Implementing and improving filing systems—it’s not just about following processes, but making them better.
- Responding to document requests and preparing materials for meetings or audits on short notice (calm under pressure is key).
- Ensuring confidentiality and proper access protocols for all sensitive files.
- Supporting HR and administration teams with document-related tasks as needed—this isn’t a role stuck in a silo.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Strong attention to detail and an organized mindset—you spot a typo from a mile away.
- Comfortable using basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email).
- Professional communication skills in English; clear, concise, and polite.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
- Reliability—team members know they can count on you.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in document control, administration, or office support (even outside the UAE).
- Familiarity with any document management systems (or a willingness to learn quickly).
- Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus, but not required.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary (AED 4,000–4,500 per month) that rewards your responsibility.
- Two-year residency permit provided and an employment contract you can renew year after year.
- Comprehensive health insurance from day one, because your well-being matters.
- Supportive colleagues who help each other succeed—even if it’s just sharing a tip for keeping your inbox tidy.
- Exposure to projects and teams that keep things interesting—no two days are quite the same.
- Modern workspace in Barsha and approachable management who actually listen.
- We believe in work-life balance: paid leave, stable hours, and respect for your outside commitments.
You’ll join a company where meticulousness means opportunity, and your efforts echo throughout the team. If you’re ready to set up systems, bring order to the busy, and grow your career in Dubai, we can’t wait to hear your story.
