About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Join Our Household as a Dog Care & Cleaning Specialist in Sharjah
Do you find true joy in keeping dogs healthy, happy, and well-groomed? If you've spent years mastering the art of animal care — and you're ready to put your skills to work in a warm family setting — this might be the unique opportunity you've been waiting for. We're seeking someone who not only understands the ins and outs of cleaning and caring for dogs, but who genuinely loves being part of a household where pets feel like family. This position is based in the tranquil Maliha area of Sharjah, and comes with specific requirements, but also the chance to make a real difference in daily life for both people and pets.
About Our Family
We're a close-knit family living in Maliha, Sharjah, and our dogs are absolutely at the heart of our home. Whether it’s early-morning walks or laughter-filled evenings in the garden, our pets are with us every step of the way. We value trust, dependability, and gentle hands — and we truly appreciate someone who understands that caring for animals means becoming part of our extended family. We’re big believers in clear communication and mutual respect, and we make a point of welcoming trustworthy caregivers into our home like longtime friends.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing daily cleaning and grooming for our family dogs — from bathing and brushing to nail trimming and ear care.
- Maintaining a tidy, hygienic environment in all dog-related areas of the home.
- Monitoring dog health: spotting issues early, administering basic treatments, and communicating any concerns promptly.
- Following specific feeding schedules and preparing nutritious meals as directed.
- Engaging dogs with exercise, play, and affection, always prioritizing their safety and well-being.
- Respecting the family’s home routines and privacy, and adapting quickly to any changes in needs.
- Participating in a trial period, during which your skills and fit with our family will be carefully evaluated.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Verified, extensive experience in caring for dogs and managing their cleaning and grooming needs.
- The ability to provide a valid original passport (with copy upon application).
- References or documented proof of previous experience with families or private clients.
- Genuine love and patience for animals — especially dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Willingness to comply with all application requirements, including a trial period and the sharing of documents.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous work in private homes or with discerning pet owners.
- Certifications in pet first aid or formal grooming.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive, timely compensation for skilled work.
- Calm, safe, and supportive family environment — you’ll feel valued, not just “hired.”
- Plenty of chances to bond with friendly dogs who love attention and care.
- Open, respectful communication and clear expectations.
- Opportunity for a long-term, stable position if the fit is right.
We know that caring for animals in a family’s home is a big responsibility — but it’s also incredibly rewarding when the right person joins us. If you bring the care, we’ll provide the stability, trust, and appreciation you deserve.
