What You’ll Be Doing
Whether you’re applying as a Foreman, Electrician, or Helper, here’s a sense of what your days might include:
- Overseeing daily electrical installation and maintenance tasks on active construction sites (Foreman)
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints, and electrical layouts relevant to each project
- Installing, repairing, and testing electrical systems, circuits, and fixtures—sometimes at heights or in tight spots (Electricians)
- Leading and motivating small teams of electricians and helpers, always keeping safety front of mind (Foreman)
- Assisting with material preparation, equipment handling, and site clean-up to support licensed electricians (Helpers)
- Troubleshooting faults, making necessary on-the-fly decisions, and documenting work for supervisors
- Collaborating with engineers, safety officers, and other trades to make sure project timelines are met with quality output
- Maintaining tools, reporting supply shortages, and helping to keep the workflow smooth
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Relevant experience in electrical work on commercial or residential construction sites (level depends on the role you’re applying for)
- Familiarity with safety protocols and local electrical codes in the UAE
- Ability to communicate in basic English; additional languages a plus, but not required
- Physical ability to handle hands-on work, sometimes in hot weather and always as part of a team
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn or lead as needed
Nice-to-Haves
- Supervisory/site management experience (for Foreman)
- Valid UAE electrical certifications or trade licenses
- Track record of working on major builds in Dubai or the wider UAE
