About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Join a Team That Keeps Dubai Running — RAMM Company Is Hiring Now
Ever walked through a brand-new tower in Dubai and wondered who made sure the lights came on and the water flowed exactly where it should? That’s the quiet work of skilled hands — and right now, RAMM Company needs more of them. We’re urgently hiring Electrical Technicians and Workers, along with Sanitary/Plumbing Technicians and Workers, to jump straight into active projects across the city. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to make a move, this might be it.
About RAMM Company
RAMM Company has built its reputation the old-fashioned way: by showing up, doing the work properly, and finishing on time. Based in Dubai, we take on electrical and sanitary installation and finishing projects where precision isn’t optional — it’s the whole point. The team here is a mix of seasoned hands and fast learners, and there’s a certain pride that comes with walking past a completed site and knowing you wired it, piped it, or sealed it yourself. We move quickly, we support each other, and we don’t cut corners.
What You’ll Be Doing
Electrical Technicians & Workers
- Install, wire, and connect electrical systems across residential and commercial sites
- Handle finishing work — outlets, fixtures, panels — with a clean, professional touch
- Read and follow technical drawings and layouts (or learn fast if you’re still sharpening that skill)
- Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs without holding up the rest of the crew
Sanitary/Plumbing Technicians & Workers
- Install sanitary fittings, pipes, and drainage systems from the ground up
- Make secure connections and pressure-test lines to catch problems before they become callbacks
- Work alongside electricians and finishers to keep projects moving in sync
- Keep work areas safe, tidy, and up to site standards
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Hands-on experience in electrical installation and finishing, or sanitary installation and connections
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and start soon — this is an immediate need
- A solid grasp of safety practices and a genuine respect for doing things right
- Team spirit — you’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with people who rely on you
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience across both electrical and plumbing disciplines (a rare and valuable combo)
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and site regulations
- A valid trade certification or license
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you — skills can be taught, but a good attitude and work ethic can’t.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- We handle the paperwork — visa issuance and processing are on us, so you can focus on the job, not the queue
- Steady pipeline of projects across Dubai, which means consistent work rather than feast-or-famine
- A crew that actually has your back — no ego, no drama, just people who want the job done well
- Room to grow if you’re willing to learn new skills on the tools
At RAMM, we believe good tradespeople deserve more than a paycheck — they deserve respect, steady work, and a team that notices when they do well. If that sounds like your kind of place, we’re ready when you are.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk me through how you'd approach wiring a new residential unit from first fix to final fixtures. What does your process look like, and where do you pay the most attention?
- Tell me about a time you hit a fault on-site that wasn't immediately obvious. How did you track it down, and what did you learn from it?
- When you're installing sanitary fittings and drainage lines, how do you make sure your connections will hold up under pressure testing? Any habits you've built over the years?
- Describe your experience reading technical drawings and layouts. Have you ever had to work from a drawing that was unclear or incomplete? What did you do?
- If you spotted a safety hazard on-site that others were ignoring, how would you handle it in the moment?
- Have you ever worked on a project where electrical and plumbing crews had to coordinate closely? What made that go smoothly — or not?
- Tell me about a time a project was running behind schedule and the pressure was on. How did you keep your work quality up without slowing the crew down?
- What's your approach when a supervisor gives you instructions that don't match what you're seeing on the ground?
- Can you share an example of a mistake you made on a job and how you dealt with it? I'm more interested in what you did next than the mistake itself.
- Have you worked with UAE building codes or site regulations before? If so, what was that like? If not, how would you get up to speed quickly?
- This role means working shoulder-to-shoulder with people from different trades and backgrounds. How do you handle a teammate who isn't pulling their weight?
- What keeps you in this trade? What do you actually enjoy about the work when everything's going right?
- We move fast here and projects don't wait. How do you personally stay organized and keep your area clean when things get hectic?
