About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever considered joining a household where your care and attention truly matter? We’re looking for a full-time housemaid to become part of a warm Arab family, where your skills will be valued not just as a helper, but as someone entrusted with our home and newest arrival. If you’re ready to take on a rewarding role that combines housework with caring for a soon-to-be newborn, this could be the perfect spot for you.
About the Family
Home for us is less about square meters, and more about kindness, togetherness, and respect. We are a family of five (well, almost—our new baby will soon make it official!), living in a cozy, easy-to-manage house. Our two older children, aged 15 and 12, are independent and at school for most of the day, but love having friendly faces around. Our days are filled with laughter, homework sessions, and, we’ll admit, the occasional sibling squabble. We take pride in taking care of each other and extend that same warmth to anyone who joins our home. You won’t be just “the maid”—you’ll be a trusted part of the family routine.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping our small house clean, tidy, and welcoming each day
- Helping with laundry, dishes, and general organization around the home
- Caring for a newborn baby (once born): soothing, changing, and helping Mum in those busy early weeks
- Occasionally preparing simple meals or snacks for the kids (no gourmet chef skills required)
- Supporting Mum with light errands or grocery trips when needed
- Occasionally supervising or helping our two older children after school
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Genuine experience as a housemaid, especially in homes with young children or infants
- Confidence in cleaning, organizing, and keeping things running smoothly (even on busy days)
- Kind, patient, and trustworthy character—someone who children can feel comfortable with
- Willingness to help out with newborn care, guided by Mum’s preferences and routines
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with Arab household customs or previous experience working with similar families
- Basic knowledge of preparing simple family meals
Not sure you match every single requirement? If you are reliable, honest, and caring, we’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Respectful, friendly family atmosphere where everyone pitches in
- Manageable workload—our house is small, so cleaning isn’t overwhelming
- Predictable routine and clear expectations
- Direct involvement in helping care for a loving newborn (and supporting a caring Mum)
- Competitive monthly salary of AED700.0
- Location in alnabaa 92 st, close to alkashif furniture—easy to find and quiet neighborhood
At the end of the day, you’ll be joining a household that appreciates dedication, loyalty, and a helping hand. If you take pride in your work and have a heart for children, we hope you’ll consider joining our family.
