What You’ll Be Doing
- Arranging and coordinating furniture layouts to create harmonious, welcoming spaces tailored to each villa or resort’s unique style.
- Mentoring and supervising the housekeeping team, ensuring top-notch cleanliness and attention to guest preferences.
- Conducting regular walkthroughs to maintain the overall appearance, anticipating issues before guests notice (or even imagine) them.
- Collaborating closely with property management to prepare villas for VIP arrivals, events, or seasonal changes.
- Training new staff on luxury hospitality standards — what “good enough” looks like here is always a notch above.
- Managing the inventory and condition of furnishings, decor, and housekeeping supplies, flagging repairs or upgrades as needed.
- Addressing guest feedback related to room setup or cleanliness, and taking swift, thoughtful action to exceed expectations.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in housekeeping supervision or luxury hospitality environments.
- A strong sense of interior layout and aesthetic — you know how to make a space “pop.”
- Hands-on leadership style, able to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Clear communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the Ajman hospitality scene or local suppliers/contractors.
- Vocational training or certification in housekeeping or interior design.
- Multilingual abilities for guest interaction.
