About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to keep a busy Dubai household running smoothly? We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Housemaid in Al Ras who truly cares about making a house feel like home. If you’re someone who takes pride in the little details—spotless countertops, freshly pressed linens, a welcoming smile for an elderly family member—this is a role where your efforts will be noticed and appreciated every single day.
About the Family & Our Approach
This isn’t your average household. We’re a warm, multi-generational family right in the vibrant heart of Al Ras, Dubai, where tradition meets a lively modern pace. Our days are dynamic (think grocery runs, pet walks, and impromptu tea breaks), but we always find time for laughter. We value respect, open communication, and reliability—plus, we genuinely appreciate the people who help our household thrive. You’ll join a supportive team where your initiative is encouraged and your contributions matter. And here’s a little secret: if you love pets, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the home sparkling clean, from dusting to deep cleans and everything in between
- Taking care of laundry, ironing, and making sure everyone’s favorite shirt is always crisp
- Lending a helping hand in the kitchen—chopping, prepping, or even experimenting with new recipes together
- Supporting elderly family members with day-to-day routines and companionship
- Grocery shopping, managing supplies, and running occasional errands around the neighborhood
- Caring for family pets—feeding, walking, and a bit of playtime
- Keeping things organized, from closets to kitchen shelves, so nothing ever feels out of place
- Communicating regularly with us to make sure everyone’s needs are met and your workload stays manageable
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience as a housemaid or domestic helper, ideally with references
- Friendly, respectful attitude with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently
- Willingness to assist with elderly care, errands, and pet needs
- Basic cooking skills and a love of learning new family recipes
- Comfortable speaking and understanding English or Arabic
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: AED 1800–2500/month, based on your experience and skills
