About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever imagined working in a warm, family-oriented home where your care and experience with children truly make a difference? We’re looking for a dedicated Housemaid with a gentle touch for childcare, someone who thrives on keeping a household running smoothly while making little ones feel safe, engaged, and loved every day. If you find joy in creating a tidy, welcoming space and love coming up with new stories to tell curious young minds, this might just be your next happy place.
About the Family
We’re a small, close-knit family nestled in Dubailand, just minutes from the buzz of Silicon Oasis. Our home is lively and full of energy—a place where laughter echoes through the hallways, and there’s always something cooking in the kitchen (literally and figuratively). Family means everything to us, and we value honesty, warmth, and a genuine love for children. If you think bedtime stories and playful afternoons are as important as spotless counters, you’ll fit right in!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping our home clean, tidy, and cozy, from daily sweeping to occasional deep cleans—nothing too fussy, just a love for neatness
- Preparing simple, healthy meals for the family; bonus points for those secret recipes that get kids eating veggies
- Looking after our little ones, from newborn care to keeping active kids entertained—think feeding, changing, bathing, playing, and plenty of cuddles
- Inventing delightful stories, playing games, and making every day a little adventure for the kiddos
- Supporting family routines and lending a hand wherever needed—flexibility is appreciated
- Respecting privacy, but stepping in with a friendly smile whenever your help is needed most
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Experience in caring for children, especially newborns and young kids—if you’ve handled bedtime battles and cheerio spills, you’re speaking our language!
- Ability to cook simple, healthy meals
- Good communication skills, patience, and a friendly personality
- Willingness to live in and be an active member of our home
- Trustworthiness and genuine affection for kids
Nice-to-Haves
- Creative flair for playing, singing, telling stories, or teaching basic skills
- Experience in a similar housekeeping role
- Comfort with a multicultural household
Not sure you match every single point? We’d still love to hear what makes you special.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: 1400 AED per month, with yearly reviews
- Live-in accommodation
- One full day off per month (24 hours to yourself)
- Friendly, respectful family who values your contribution
- A warm and welcoming household—you’ll quickly feel like part of the family
- Easy transport connections (near Silicon Oasis), safe and pleasant neighborhood
We’re looking for someone who’ll bring both energy and warmth to our home—someone who finds meaning in the little moments and enjoys being part of a joyful, loving environment. If that sounds like your kind of place, we’d be thrilled to meet you.
