Hidden in the heart of Ajman’s Al Rawda 1, our villa isn’t just four walls and a roof — it’s a haven for cats who need a second chance. We’re a small, tight-knit team that views every furball as family and every day as a chance to do a little better. Expect plenty of meows, the occasional catnapper on your lap, and a genuine sense of purpose in every task. Teamwork here means caring for each other as much as our whiskered residents, with shared stories and a mutual love for all animals (cats especially).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the entire villa sparkling clean, from entryways to hidden corners (fur can be sneaky!)
- Prepping daily meals for the cats: chopping chicken and vegetables, boiling and serving fresh food on schedule
- Cleaning up after meal times — dishes, counters, and kitchen spaces
- Handling cat laundry — washing bedding, towels, and keeping everything soft and neat
- Ensuring all cat areas are tidy, sanitized, and cozy for our feline guests
- Observing the cats during mealtimes and play, alerting the team to any health or behavioral issues
- Pitching in wherever needed — sometimes it's organizing supplies, sometimes it’s just giving an extra back scratch
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or similar roles
- Genuine love and compassion for animals, especially cats (they know if you don’t!)
- Comfort with handling raw chicken and vegetables, plus a willingness to learn simple cooking tasks
- Attention to detail — you notice what needs tidying before anyone asks
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take initiative when things get busy
- Live-out arrangement with your own valid visa
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in a cat shelter, veterinary clinic, or animal care environment
- Basic spoken English or Arabic to communicate with the team
- A patient, gentle demeanor (cats can have their moods, after all)
