What You’ll Be Doing
- Caring for a young child with patience, empathy, and a genuine love for little ones
- Keeping the child’s room, clothes, and belongings tidy and organized
- Engaging the child in age-appropriate play, simple activities, and daily routines
- Observing the child’s needs, moods, and wellbeing, and communicating openly with parents
- Ensuring a safe, cheerful, and nurturing environment throughout the day
- Assisting with light meal preparation and feeding if required
- Adjusting your approach as the child grows and their interests change
- Working with the family on daily schedules and occasional outings
- Being attentive to detail — from bath time to bedtime stories
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Prior experience as a nanny or caregiver for children (home/family-setting experience is welcome)
- Basic English communication skills — enough to coordinate, ask questions, and give updates
- A warm, responsible, and trustworthy presence
- Ability to keep the child’s space and belongings tidy
- Currently living in the UAE (this is essential!)
- Ready for immediate start (or very soon!)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience working with families in Dubai or similar family-settled settings
- Any additional language skills (always a plus in a multicultural city)
