About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about joining a family where your skills are truly appreciated, and your days are filled with purpose? We’re looking for a dedicated Housemaid & Nanny to become part of our household in the Ghonima area of Al Ain. If you genuinely enjoy keeping things organized, creating a warm environment, and caring for children, this could be the ideal fit for you — especially if you value work-life balance and a supportive atmosphere.
About the Family
We’re a warm, welcoming family who believe that a happy home starts with kindness, respect, and a little laughter sprinkled throughout the day. Our home is lively but well-organized — we love routines, but we’re not afraid of a little mess from time to time (who isn’t?). We’re searching for someone who shares our values: honesty, reliability, and a genuine love for children. Friday afternoons tend to be our favorite — we like to share stories over tea and celebrate the little wins of the week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the home tidy and clean throughout the day, with a focus on shared family spaces and children’s areas
- Helping prepare simple, healthy meals or snacks for the kids as needed
- Creating a safe and cheerful play environment, both indoors and outdoors
- Assisting the children with basic routines (homework, bedtime prep, etc.)
- Managing light laundry and organizing children’s clothes and toys
- Occasionally running small errands or helping with grocery shopping
- Communicating openly with the family about any household or child-related needs
- Being a positive, steady presence in the children’s daily lives
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Must-Haves:
- Own valid residence visa (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
- Currently living in Al Ain, Ghonima area (we are not considering applicants from outside this location)
- Experience working with children and a genuine interest in their well-being
- Strong sense of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail
- Trustworthiness, punctuality, and a caring attitude
Nice-to-Haves:
- Basic knowledge of healthy meal prep for children
- Ability to help with homework or creative playtime ideas
- Previous experience as a housemaid or nanny in a family setting
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)
- Two days off per week — your time to recharge is important to us
- Daytime hours (10:00 AM to 9:00 PM) with no overnight or live-in requirement
- Respectful, supportive family who values open communication
- A safe, friendly work environment where your work is noticed and appreciated
- Flexibility to maintain your own residence and personal life outside of working hours
- Opportunity to build lasting relationships and be appreciated as a valued member of our family
We understand the importance of feeling at home where you work, and we’re committed to making sure you feel respected and supported every step of the way. If you’re ready to bring your care and dedication to a family that values what you do, we hope to meet you soon.
