About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to become an important part of a family’s day-to-day life? As a Domestic Worker for a welcoming household in Al Ain, you won’t just keep things running smoothly — you’ll help create a truly comfortable home. If you take pride in your housekeeping skills and enjoy thoughtful routines, this is an opportunity to work where your care makes a difference, every single day.
About the Family
Our household isn’t just a workplace — it’s a place where mutual respect and kindness set the tone. Over years in Al Ain, we’ve valued the dedication and honesty of everyone who’s joined our home. From sharing homemade meals together to celebrating special occasions, we believe in fostering a sense of belonging. We’re looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our lives, not just an employee.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare delicious and nutritious meals tailored to the family’s preferences (sometimes, a surprise favorite is always appreciated!).
- Keep the entire house sparkling clean — from living rooms to bedrooms, attention to detail is key.
- Handle laundry and ironing with care, ensuring clothes are fresh, crisp, and ready for every occasion.
- Run household errands and help with basic organization, whether that means restocking groceries or tidying up after a busy day.
- Communicate openly with family members to understand daily needs and routines.
- Occasionally assist with serving meals or light childcare, as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience working as a domestic worker, housekeeper, or similar home support role.
- Proficiency in cooking a variety of dishes — and a willingness to learn family favorites.
- Strong cleaning, laundry, and ironing skills (with an eye for detail).
- Trustworthiness, good character, and a respectful attitude.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills — kindness goes a long way here.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with household organization or basic errands.
- Familiarity with the customs and daily life in the UAE.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive monthly salary of AED 1100.
- Comfortable, private accommodation provided within the family residence.
- All daily meals included, with a chance to enjoy family-style dining.
- Residency permits and all rights granted according to UAE labor law.
- Respectful, friendly work environment with a focus on fairness and work-life balance.
