What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works at active hotel project sites in Jumeira.
- Coordinating closely with contractors, site engineers, and project managers to ensure milestones line up—no last-minute surprises.
- Reviewing and interpreting project drawings, specs, and shop drawings to guarantee top-quality installations.
- Monitoring on-site MEP installation progress, noting any deviations, and proactively flagging issues before they become problems.
- Conducting detailed site inspections, ensuring every fitting and fixture meets safety standards, plus keeping meticulous records.
- Preparing regular reports on progress, snags, and resolutions—your documentation keeps everyone on track.
- Troubleshooting technical challenges with on-site teams and making practical, timely recommendations.
- Fostering a positive safety culture by enforcing compliance with HSE protocols and project-specific requirements.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience in MEP supervision (ideally on hotel, hospitality, or similar large-scale projects).
- Strong knowledge of local UAE regulations, standards, and building codes.
- Clear communicator in both spoken and written English; comfortable leading coordination meetings.
- A knack for spotting issues and solving them before anyone else notices—attention to detail is crucial.
- Relevant engineering diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil disciplines.
