About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to make a real, positive impact on a child’s life — all while being welcomed as part of a family? We’re searching for a caring and dependable Filipino nanny for a short-term, live-in position this June. If you’re the type who believes a gentle touch and a warm smile go a long way, especially with little ones, this could be the perfect fit. It’s a part-time role, and you’ll be the trusted extra set of hands that helps our family thrive during a busy month.
About the Family
We’re a down-to-earth household with two lively children — each day brings a new (and often adorable) adventure. Our family believes in kindness, open communication, and treating everyone with respect, including those who help care for our kids. While June is a particularly whirlwind month for us, we strive to keep our home a warm, welcoming space (there’s always snacks in the pantry and laughter in the living room). You’ll be living in as part of the family this month, not just as staff.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Helping with the daily care of two kids, including a curious toddler and a sweet infant
- Providing a watchful eye and warm, patient guidance during play, mealtimes, and naps
- Assisting with simple routines: feeding, diaper changes, and naps, as needed
- Lending a hand with light household tasks (think: tidying up play areas, kids’ laundry)
- Being a reassuring, calm presence — especially when the little ones are feeling energetic or fussy
- Communicating with parents openly about the kids’ day, milestones, and any observations
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Filipino nationality (trusted cultural fit is important to us)
- Previous experience caring for infants and toddlers
- Patient, nurturing, and genuinely loves working with children
- Responsible, reliable, and able to follow routines
- Comfortable with live-in arrangement and flexible part-time hours
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with two children at once
- Willing to share occasional family meals or help with simple meal prep
Not sure you meet every requirement? If you’re kind-hearted and love caring for children, we’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Cozy live-in setup so you can focus on care, not commuting
- Supportive environment where you’re treated like part of the family
- Simple, respectful routines and an easygoing pace
- Open communication and appreciation for your help
- Opportunity to make a memorable difference in a child’s early life
We hope you’ll feel at home here, even if it’s for just a month — and you’ll leave with a few new stories, and maybe some new recipes, too!
