About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what goes into transforming a blueprint into something tangible, like the gleam of a modern glass façade or the sharp lines of bespoke aluminum frames? As our new Procurement Officer at Areej Aluminum & Glass Installations in Ajman, you’ll be the expert behind the scenes, ensuring every project kicks off with the right materials at the best value. In today’s fast-evolving construction world, smart procurement is the secret sauce — and we need someone who can truly bring that expertise to the table.

About the Company

Areej Aluminum & Glass Installations isn’t your average supplier. Nestled in the heart of Ajman’s industrial district, we’re a tight-knit team fueled by craftsmanship, practicality, and no small amount of coffee. We pride ourselves on helping shape the skylines of the UAE, project by project, with integrity and quality. Fridays might mean team lunches or spontaneous celebrations when we beat a tricky deadline. Around here, strong relationships matter just as much as sharp technical skills — both with our internal team and the suppliers we call partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Researching, shortlisting, and evaluating suppliers specializing in aluminum profiles, glass, and project accessories
  • Gathering and comparing quotes, not just for price but for reliability, delivery timelines, and after-sales support
  • Negotiating terms to secure the best combination of quality, cost, and service (think: “win-win” agreements, not just lowest bids)
  • Coordinating purchase orders — making sure materials arrive on time, every time, to keep our projects moving
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with both local and international suppliers
  • Maintaining clear, up-to-date records of quotations, orders, and supplier performance (people count on your accuracy here!)
  • Anticipating material needs by working closely with project managers and technical teams — no one likes last-minute surprises
  • Keeping up-to-date with market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers to keep us competitive

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within construction, aluminum, and/or glass industries
  • Strong negotiation skills — you know how to ask the right questions and spot a good deal
  • Organizational wizardry: juggling quotes, orders, and communications without dropping the ball
  • Confident communicator, fluent in English (Arabic is a bonus but not a deal-breaker)
  • Tech-savvy — comfortable with spreadsheets, emails, and procurement systems
  • Proactive attitude and a knack for building trust with new contacts

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with UAE market suppliers
  • Knowledge of sustainable sourcing or green building materials
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional project teams

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)

  • Competitive salary that actually matches your expertise
  • A stable role in a trusted Ajman company with a reputation for excellence
  • Collaborative team environment — approachable leadership, helpful colleagues, and a “pitch in” mindset
  • Opportunities to grow your career as our company expands and our portfolio of projects grows
  • Modern office space in Ajman Industrial Area, with all the tools you need
  • Health insurance and annual leave because work-life balance matters
  • Regular team events (our “Friday feasts” are legendary for a reason!)

If you’re looking for a place with room to grow, hands-on impact, and a crew that celebrates together, Areej Aluminum & Glass Installations might just be your next great career move.
