About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you the person everyone calls when a project needs to run seamlessly—whether it’s fitting custom glass, precision aluminum work, or transforming kitchens into showstoppers? At Al-Ittifaq Workshop, we’re searching for a Professional Technician adept in aluminum, glass, and kitchen installations to bring our clients’ visions to life. As the demand for tailored architectural solutions continues to rise, this is your opportunity to step into a role where your craftsmanship genuinely matters.

About the Company

Al-Ittifaq Workshop isn’t your typical fabrication shop. We’re a tight-knit crew of builders and dreamers, known both for our sharp technical skills and our creative problem-solving. Whether we’re brainstorming elegant glass features or putting the final touches on a complex kitchen install, we believe in doing things right—the first time. It’s not unusual to catch us comparing notes over strong coffee or swapping tips for streamlining tricky installs. Joining us means stepping into a hands-on, supportive environment where pride in our work comes standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install aluminum frames, doors, and structures to spec—sometimes on-site, sometimes in the workshop.
  • Precisely cut, handle, and fit glass panels for windows, partitions, or display units, ensuring seamless alignment and secure fixtures.
  • Assemble and install custom kitchen cabinets and components, collaborating closely with clients and our in-house carpenters.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and client sketches, quickly translating ideas into real-world results.
  • Troubleshoot installation snags on the fly, keeping a cool head when things don’t quite go as planned (because, honestly, sometimes they don’t).
  • Spot-check your own and others’ work—it’s not unusual to lend a hand or offer feedback, and we value technicians who help everyone raise the bar.
  • Keep your work area organized and safe, while adhering to company standards and local building codes.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Demonstrated experience in aluminum fabrication and installation (at least 2 years hands-on preferred).
  • Skilled with glass cutting, fitting, and handling tools—a steady hand and a detail-oriented eye are essential.
  • Solid background in kitchen cabinet assembly and installation.
  • Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site or in the workshop, sometimes with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication—it’s important that you can solve problems with both tools and words.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous work in custom design projects or high-end residential/commercial jobs.
  • A knack for training junior technicians or sharing best practices.
  • Experience with power tools and maintenance of specialized fabrication machinery.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and opportunities for overtime.
  • Supportive, team-oriented workshop—if you love sharing tricks of the trade or learning new ones, you’ll fit right in.
  • Flexible work environment: Depending on the project, you may alternate between on-site installations and relaxed workshop days.
  • Frequent chances to take on unique, custom projects—there’s rarely a dull day.
  • Continuous learning: We’re big on upskilling, with new tooling and techniques always on the horizon.
  • Coffee breaks, open communication, and respect—your work matters and your voice is heard.

We pride ourselves on being a place where skilled technicians can grow their craft, earn the respect they deserve, and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a salary of at least 3,500–5,000 AED per month for this type of professional technician role in the UAE, especially given your varied skills in aluminum, glass, and kitchen installations. Technicians with 2+ years of hands-on experience and the ability to work independently, read blueprints, and handle both workshop and on-site projects typically fall within this range, with additional earnings possible through overtime or specialized project work. Negotiating at the higher end of this range is reasonable if you have expertise in custom or high-end installations.
