About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever wondered what it’s like to be the friendly face that shapes a guest’s first impression? As a Front Desk Assistant in Silicon Oasis, you’re not just handing over keys — you’re curating experiences in one of Dubai’s fastest-growing tech hubs. If you thrive in lively environments and enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life, this could be the role that sparks your hospitality career in the UAE.

About the Company

Nestled in the heart of Silicon Oasis, our hotel is a hub for travelers — from business moguls attending tech conferences to families exploring Dubai’s vibrant scene. Our team is a blend of seasoned pros and energetic newcomers, all sharing a genuine passion for guest happiness. We believe a little warmth goes a long way; whether that’s a cheerful “good morning” or a quick tip about the best local eats, we make hospitality feel personal. Oh, and Fridays? That’s when we celebrate our “Guest of the Week” — just one of our ways to keep spirits high.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcome guests with a smile, check them in efficiently, and set the tone for their stay
  • Handle guest queries — from WiFi codes to local recommendations — with patience and flair
  • Support daily front desk operations: manage reservations, answer calls, and coordinate with housekeeping
  • Assist with check-outs, ensuring accuracy and a smooth departure experience
  • Keep the lobby tidy and inviting (think: fresh magazines, spotless counters)
  • Tackle occasional curveballs — maybe a lost suitcase or last-minute room switch — with calm and confidence
  • Collaborate closely with your teammates and other departments to deliver seamless service

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but a friendly attitude is even more important
  • Comfortable communicating in English (other languages are a bonus!)
  • Confidence using basic computer systems and booking software
  • Currently residing in the UAE and able to attend an in-person interview
  • Positive, can-do spirit — you’re unflappable even when the lobby gets a little busy
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or holidays
  • A genuine desire to help people feel welcome

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Salary of AED 4,000 per month — paid on time, every time
  • Two-year UAE employment visa provided
  • Welcoming to all nationalities and genders — diversity is our strength
  • A collaborative, supportive team that celebrates wins big and small
  • On-the-job training and room to grow your hospitality career
  • Convenient Silicon Oasis location, close to public transport and lively cafés
  • Regular team get-togethers and recognition for going the extra mile
  • Uniform provided (and laundered — one less thing to worry about)

We know hotel life can be fast-paced — but here, you’ll find a team that’s got your back and a role where every day brings something new. If you’ve got a welcoming smile and a heart for service, we can’t wait to meet you.
