What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests with a genuine smile and helping them feel at home from the moment they walk in
- Taking food and beverage orders clearly and accurately—no mix-ups on your watch
- Serving dishes and drinks promptly, making sure every table gets just what they asked for
- Checking in with guests to ensure their experience exceeds expectations, and responding quickly to any requests
- Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to keep things running smoothly during even the busiest shifts
- Assisting with table settings, cleaning, and resetting for the next round of guests
- Handling payments, bills, and any special requests professionally and efficiently
- Noticing the little things—like a refill before it’s asked for or a birthday candle when it matters most
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience a plus)
- Positive, can-do attitude—guests and teammates alike can count on you
- Ability to stay organized and upbeat in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a bonus
- Smart, presentable appearance and a friendly, approachable manner
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant software
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Experience working in Dubai or with an international clientele
