About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Front and Centre: The Face of Our Abu Dhabi Operations
Ever walked into a place and instantly felt like you mattered? That’s the feeling we’re trying to bottle — and we need someone who can pour it out every single morning. We’re an established industrial company in Abu Dhabi on the hunt for a Female Receptionist who can hold down the front desk with polish, patience, and a genuinely warm welcome. This isn’t just about answering phones (though yes, there will be plenty of that) — it’s about being the calm, capable first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. If you’re organized, presentable, and ready to be the heartbeat of our daily operations, keep reading.
A Bit About Us
We’ve been part of Abu Dhabi’s industrial landscape for years, and while our work is technical and fast-moving, our office culture is anything but cold. Think of a place where people know each other by name, where the morning coffee run is practically a ritual, and where a well-run front desk genuinely keeps the whole ship sailing smoothly. We’re not a sprawling corporate giant — we’re a tight-knit team that values reliability, respect, and the kind of person who notices when something needs doing and just… does it. Our reception area is the gateway to everything we do, and we treat whoever sits there as a vital part of the crew, not just a voice on the phone.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting visitors, clients, and couriers with a professional and friendly demeanour — you’re the first hello and often the last goodbye.
- Managing incoming calls, directing them to the right person without playing a frustrating game of telephone tag.
- Handling day-to-day administrative tasks: filing, scanning, email correspondence, and keeping the front desk area tidy and presentable.
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and making sure guests are comfortable while they wait.
- Supporting various departments with basic clerical duties — think data entry, document preparation, and light scheduling.
- Receiving and sorting mail and deliveries, making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
- Keeping a calm head when things get busy — because in an industrial office, the pace can spike without warning.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Strong command of English — both written and spoken — with clear, confident communication skills.
- Comfortable with computers and common office software (Word, Excel, email, etc.).
- Professional, presentable appearance and a poised, courteous manner.
- Currently based in the UAE and able to commute to our Abu Dhabi location.
- A proactive attitude — you notice what needs doing and take initiative.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Arabic language skills — a big plus for our diverse client base.
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role (even a short stint counts).
- Familiarity with basic office equipment like multi-line phones and printers.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. Skills can be taught; a great attitude and a genuine desire to do well can’t.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- A supportive team culture — no corporate politics, just people who pitch in and respect each other’s time.
- Growth potential — we’ve promoted from within before, and we’re happy to do it again for the right person.
- Structured work hours — because balance matters, and we know it.
- A central Abu Dhabi location — easy to get to, with amenities nearby.
- Real variety — every day brings a different mix of people and tasks, so boredom is never on the agenda.
We’re not promising a flashy startup vibe with beanbags and ping-pong tables. What we are offering is a stable, respectful workplace where your contribution is noticed and your presence genuinely makes a difference. If you’re ready to be the friendly, unflappable face of our company, we’d love to meet you.
