About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what really makes those supermarket shelves look so enticing—and how brands maintain their edge in a hyper-competitive food market? As our Retail Operations Inspector, you’ll get a backstage pass to the action. This isn’t just another desk job: you’ll be on the ground, helping ensure that our products shine in major UAE retail chains and that every shopper’s experience measures up. If you thrive on variety, enjoy rolling up your sleeves, and love the buzz of the FMCG world, you might just find your next challenge here.

About the Company

We’re a leading force in food distribution across the UAE, but inside our walls you won’t find stiff formality—you’ll find a team with genuine passion for what fills the baskets and hearts of families all over the region. Our office chat spans trending new snacks to the latest tech in logistics, and we’re united by a mission to bring quality food to every table. Fridays are known for friendly competitions in the break room (and yes, tasting events are practically part of the job). In short: we work hard, support each other, and celebrate wins—big and small.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Visiting major retail chains—think Lulu Hypermarket, Nesto Hypermarket, Union COOP, and others—to inspect product placement and merchandising
  • Checking shelves to confirm our products are always present, well-stocked, and displayed to standard
  • Collaborating with in-store teams to address gaps, resolve issues, and maximize on-shelf availability
  • Collecting and sharing on-the-ground market intelligence about sales trends and competitor activity
  • Providing feedback to our sales and supply chain teams so we can respond quickly to changing conditions
  • Ensuring promotions and marketing campaigns are executed flawlessly at the retail level
  • Following up with retailers and our own reps to drive continuous improvement in in-store execution

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on FMCG experience in the UAE market
  • A track record working with leading retail partners such as Lulu, Nesto, Union COOP, and others
  • Strong observational skills and attention to merchandising details—spotting what others might miss
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize visits, and adapt to the variable rhythms of fieldwork
  • Solid communication in English; Arabic or other languages a plus

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with basic sales reports and data analysis
  • Experience implementing new product launches or promotional campaigns
  • A knack for building quick rapport with people at all levels, from store managers to stockroom staff

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary, annual bonus, and travel allowances for field visits
  • Supportive, close-knit team where your voice is heard
  • Opportunities to grow—gaining exposure to multiple departments and career tracks
  • Flexible work environment: spend your time in the field and stay connected to our vibrant head office
  • Access to product samples (yes, the perks of the trade are delicious)
  • Regular team events and recognition for work that goes above and beyond

We know retail thrives on energy and teamwork—qualities you’ll find in abundance here. If you’re ready to hit the aisles and make a tangible impact every day, let’s talk.
