About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself in the heart of a bustling Dubai café, imagining what you’d change if you ran the place? If you’re a restaurant or café pro who thrives on action—rolling up your sleeves to boost sales, streamline operations, and elevate team spirit—this Sales & Operations Supervisor role might just be your next adventure. We’re looking for someone ready to make a real impact on our fast-growing concept, not just keep things ticking over. In the ever-competitive Dubai F&B scene, your leadership could be the game-changer that takes us to the next level.
About Us
We’re more than just a busy destination for great food and coffee—we’re a tight-knit team of hospitality enthusiasts who genuinely care about each guest’s experience. Our leadership style is approachable and growth-minded (think open-door policy, idea-sharing, honest feedback, and more than a few team lunches). While our guests enjoy warm smiles and memorable meals, the behind-the-scenes culture is just as important: we invest in personal development, celebrate small wins, and, yes, Friday staff gatherings are non-negotiable. We love to collaborate, move quickly, and tackle the unique challenges (and opportunities) of Dubai’s ever-evolving food scene.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Personally drive sales growth—on the floor and behind the scenes—by spotting opportunities, motivating your team, and exceeding monthly targets
- Oversee daily operations for both FOH and BOH, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse staff—coaching on best practices, customer care, and teamwork
- Empower staff with clear SOPs, ongoing training, and regular performance feedback
- Deliver standout customer service, stepping in to handle VIP guests or resolve any hiccups quickly
- Monitor inventory closely, prevent losses, and keep suppliers and orders running like clockwork
- Audit compliance with health, safety, and quality standards—never leaving it up to chance
- Identify and act on new ways to enhance the guest experience, increase repeat business, and set us apart in the Dubai market
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid experience in restaurant, café, or hospitality operations within Dubai—ideally as a shift leader, supervisor, or assistant manager
- A hands-on leadership style; you’re calm in a rush and everyone knows they can count on you
- Proven ability to drive and hit sales targets, with creative ideas for boosting revenue
- Excellent communication in English (bonus points for other languages)
- Up-to-date knowledge of Dubai’s F&B market, trends, and customer expectations
- Strong organizational skills—you love a well-run shift as much as a satisfied guest
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with inventory systems or POS software
- Experience training junior staff or rolling out new operational procedures
- Basic HR, scheduling, or budgeting know-how
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary plus attractive incentives—your results are rewarded
- Growth potential with real opportunities for development and promotion
- A say in shaping our menus, systems, and guest experience
- Supportive, close-knit team—no rigid hierarchy, just shared goals
- Staff meals, flexible shift patterns, and work-life balance that’s actually respected
- A welcoming space where great coffee, food, and camaraderie fuel every day
We’re not the kind of place where you’re expected to be a robot. If you’re passionate, practical, and ready to build something memorable with us, you’ll feel right at home here.
