What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy across ledgers, journals, and all financial documentation
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
- Managing reconciliations for bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledgers
- Supporting the annual audit process by coordinating with external auditors and preparing required documentation
- Ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies at all times
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial guidance and resolve queries
- Suggesting and implementing process improvements for greater efficiency and transparency
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills — you catch the little things that others might miss
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well under deadlines in a busy environment
Nice-to-Haves:
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Experience with ERP systems
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions
