About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it’s like to have a job that keeps the city running — quite literally? Whether you specialize in running pipes, fixing circuits, sculpting spaces, or offering a helping hand wherever needed, we have roles that put your skills front and center. Right now, we’re looking to immediately welcome skilled and general workers — Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians, Carpenters, Masons, and General Helpers — to join our hardworking team supporting sites across the UAE. If you’re ready to work with a company that values reliability and craft, this is your chance to step in where your expertise truly makes a difference.

About the Company

Based in the heart of Deira, Dubai, we’re a well-established contracting outfit trusted by major clients — but it’s our people who power our reputation. Our crew is a diverse mix; some have been with us for years, others are new faces, but everyone is respected for what they bring to the job. Morning check-ins are part catch-up, part planning session (and occasionally, part friendly debate over the best chai shop nearby). Here, your hard work won’t go unnoticed, and you’ll always have backup when things get busy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plumber: Installing and repairing piping systems, fixing leaks, and ensuring water supply systems function smoothly at project sites.
  • Electrician: Carrying out electrical wiring, troubleshooting faults, and maintaining lighting and power systems to the highest safety standards.
  • HVAC Technician: Installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units — keeping buildings cool in the summer and comfortable year-round.
  • Carpenter: Building and installing frameworks, doors, and furniture; repairing woodwork with accuracy and an eye for detail.
  • Mason: Handling bricklaying, plastering, stonework, and related site prep — crafting sturdy surfaces on a variety of projects.
  • General Helper: Assisting skilled trades, transporting materials, keeping worksites tidy, and stepping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed.

No two days are quite alike — you might be at a fresh construction site one week and a finished commercial tower the next.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in your trade (for skilled roles) or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn (for helpers)
  • Ability to work well in a team with people from many backgrounds
  • Flexibility to handle different tasks and locations as projects require
  • Commitment to safety and company procedures — everyone goes home safe
  • Basic English or Hindi is helpful; more languages are an advantage

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)

  • Free shared accommodation — you’ll have a comfortable place to rest, close to work sites
  • Company-provided transportation so you never worry about the commute
  • Medical insurance to protect your health
  • Uniforms supplied — no need to worry about extra gear
  • Job security working for an established company with steady contracts
  • Opportunities to learn new skills on varied projects
  • Supportive team culture — whether it’s helping with a tricky job or sharing a laugh during breaks

At our company, you’ll be more than just a name on a roster — you’ll be part of a team that gets Dubai (and the UAE) built, brick by brick and wire by wire. Starting salary ranges from AED1200–1800 per month, depending on your experience, so you’re rewarded for what you bring to the table. If you’re ready for a steady job and a company that stands behind its people, let’s talk.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk me through a recent project where you applied your trade skills, whether as a plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, carpenter, or mason? What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
  • How do you prioritize safety on a worksite, especially when dealing with potentially hazardous equipment or situations?
  • For skilled roles: What specific tools and materials are you most comfortable working with, and how do you ensure proper maintenance of your equipment?
  • Have you ever had to switch quickly between tasks or assist other trades on short notice? How did you manage your workload and maintain quality?

  • For general helpers: How do you stay organized when supporting multiple skilled workers and tasks throughout the day?
  • Tell us about a project where you worked with people from different cultures or backgrounds. What did you learn and how did you contribute to team harmony?

  • When moving between different sites and assignments, what helps you adapt quickly to new environments, teams, or challenges?
  • Can you give an example of a time when you went above and beyond for your team — whether by staying late, taking on extra work, or helping someone learn a new skill?
  • How do you ensure clear communication with coworkers who may not share your first language, especially when working in a multicultural team?
  • What motivates you to do your best work, even on tough or repetitive days?
  • Why do you feel our company and team culture would be a good fit for you?
  • With a variety of projects and tasks, how do you stay focused and maintain a strong work ethic from start to finish?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

The offered salary range of AED 1,200–1,800 per month reflects typical starting compensation for skilled and general site workers in the UAE, especially when paired with comprehensive benefits such as company-provided accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance. This package is well-aligned with industry norms for entry-level to mid-level positions and provides a stable foundation, while the diversity of projects and clear pathways for skill development create opportunities for personal and professional growth within an established company.
