This isn't desk work — it's real, tangible work that will shape the future of one of Dubai's most ambitious infrastructure sites. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and earn well while doing it, keep reading.
About the Company
We're a project contractor operating on-site at Al Maktoum International Airport, and our crews are the backbone of everything we deliver. The culture here is simple: work hard, get rewarded, and look out for each other. Our teams come from all over — different trades, different backgrounds — but everyone pulls in the same direction. Weekly advances and performance bonuses aren't a gimmick for us; they're how we say thank you to the people who show up and give it their all.
What You'll Be Doing
- Install, assemble, and maintain solar panel systems across active project sites at the airport
- Handle general construction tasks — from structural work to site preparation — depending on your trade and experience
- Follow site safety protocols without cutting corners (we take this seriously, and so should you)
- Work alongside a mixed crew of electricians, technicians, and general laborers to keep projects moving on schedule
- Report to your site supervisor and flag any issues before they become problems
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience in solar installation, construction, or a related trade
- A valid government-issued ID — Emirates ID, UAE residence visa, or passport
- Physical stamina and a willingness to work outdoors in Dubai's climate
- Basic communication skills in English (enough to follow instructions and stay safe on-site)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience on large-scale infrastructure or airport projects
- Trade certifications or technical training in solar or electrical work
- A valid UAE driving license
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you — experience comes in many forms, and attitude counts for a lot here.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Attractive salaries — competitive pay that reflects the skill you bring
- Free accommodation — one less thing to worry about
- Free transportation to and from the site
- Weekly advances — because waiting a full month isn't always practical
- Bonuses for hardworking employees — we notice effort and we reward it
Look, we're not going to pretend this is easy work. But it's steady, it's well-paid, and the support is real — from housing to transport to getting paid on time. If that sounds like the kind of setup you've been looking for, you'll fit right in.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk me through your hands-on experience with solar panel installation — what kinds of systems have you worked on, and what was your specific role on those jobs?
- This role involves both solar work and general construction tasks depending on the day. Can you tell me about a time you had to switch between different types of work on short notice? How did you handle it?
- What safety protocols do you follow when working at height or handling heavy equipment on a site? Give me a concrete example of how you've applied them.
- Describe a situation where you spotted a problem on-site before it became a bigger issue. What did you do, and what was the outcome?
- Dubai's heat is no joke. How do you manage your energy and stay safe during long outdoor shifts in high temperatures?
- Have you ever worked alongside electricians or technicians from other trades to get a job done? How did you keep communication clear when things got busy?
- Tell me about a time a supervisor gave you instructions that were unclear or incomplete. What did you do?
- If a crew member wasn't following safety rules and it was putting others at risk, how would you handle it?
- What certifications or technical training do you currently hold, and are any of them specific to solar or electrical work?
- Why does working on a large-scale infrastructure project like an airport appeal to you compared to a smaller residential job?
- We pay weekly advances and reward hard work with bonuses. What does being a reliable team member look like to you day to day?
- Our crews come from all over with different backgrounds and languages. How do you build trust and keep things running smoothly with people who aren't exactly like you?
