About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever found satisfaction in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? If you have an eye for detail and value a well-organized workspace, you might be the storekeeper Ur destination needs. We’re on the lookout for someone who takes pride in accurate records and efficient stock management—not just a “keeper of things,” but the heartbeat of our warehouse. As we continue growing in the bustling heart of Al Ain City Centre, this is your chance to play a key role where your diligence truly matters.

About Ur destination

At Ur destination, our warehouse might be our physical home base, but our people are the real engine driving us forward. We started out with a simple mission: deliver top-notch products quickly and reliably in Abu Dhabi’s ever-busy retail scene. Over the years, we’ve built a tight-knit team that supports each other, jokes over boxed lunches, and always goes the extra mile to make sure our customers are delighted (spoiler: surprise birthday cakes show up here more often than you’d expect). If you value working somewhere you’re seen as more than just a number, you’ll fit right in with us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure a smoothly running storage environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock in and out—paperwork and digital logs included.
  • Regularly check inventory levels, perform stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies quickly.
  • Coordinate with delivery drivers and suppliers to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • Label and organize products in the warehouse for maximum efficiency (creative labeling is encouraged).
  • Monitor stock quality and work with management on replacing or returning damaged goods.
  • Participate in warehouse clean-up days to keep the space safe and tidy.
  • Assist team members in finding items or solving minor logistical puzzles—collaboration is key!

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems (think Excel or warehouse management software).
  • Attention to detail—the small things don’t get past you.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask when things get busy.
  • Comfort with manual handling and moving inventory as required.
  • Reliable, dependable, and a team player through and through.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience using handheld barcode scanners.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software beyond the basics.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is a bonus.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and overtime pay for those busy days.
  • Supportive, friendly team culture—people actually look forward to coming in.
  • Warehouse located right in Al Ain City Centre (easy lunch options!).
  • On-the-job training and opportunities to grow your skills.
  • Regular staff get-togethers, and the occasional impromptu snack-sharing tradition.
  • Your hard work matters here—we see (and reward) dedication.

At Ur destination, you’re not just filling a position; you’re joining a team that roots for each other’s success. If you want a stable job where your attention to detail keeps everything on track, this might be the perfect fit for you.
