About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about how much easier life gets with a reliable tech expert by your side? If you’re passionate about hands-on technical maintenance and love the idea of solving real problems for people right at their doorsteps, this opportunity might just be your next adventure. We’re searching for a partner or expert employee to join Adufague (Flame) — someone who’s skilled in computer maintenance, gaming systems, printers, cameras, smart home installations, and more. What sets this role apart? Flexibility, variety, and the chance to be the go-to problem solver in Abufath and Pepper.
About Adufague (Flame)
Adufague isn’t your typical service shop — we’re more like a close-knit team of tech enthusiasts who believe in making technology accessible and stress-free for everyone. Our day-to-day is never dull: one minute we’re setting up a home automation system, the next we’re troubleshooting a gaming rig or helping a family secure their home with smart cameras. We offer housing and workshop spaces for our team, and our “door-to-door” service model means we get to know our clients personally. Fridays sometimes turn into group brainstorming sessions over coffee, and every win is shared and celebrated.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Visiting clients’ homes or businesses to provide maintenance and support for computers, gaming systems, printers, and smart home devices
- Diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues on-site — sometimes it’s a quick fix, other times it’s a puzzle to solve
- Installing and configuring security cameras, Wi-Fi networks, and smart home solutions tailored to each client’s needs
- Programming printers and gaming consoles for optimal performance (bonus if you enjoy a bit of tech wizardry!)
- Advising clients on best practices for home and office tech setups, in plain language they’ll actually understand
- Keeping a friendly, approachable attitude — people trust you to come into their homes and solve real problems
- Coordinating with the team at our workshop for more complex repairs or collaborative projects
- Occasionally lending a hand with workshop organization or brainstorming new service ideas
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience in computer maintenance, with a knack for troubleshooting both hardware and software
- Comfortable working with gaming systems, printers, and smart home technology (installation and configuration)
- Solid understanding of basic networking (Wi-Fi setup, troubleshooting, simple cabling)
- A customer-first attitude — you enjoy helping people, not just fixing machines
- Willingness to travel locally for door-to-door service (Abufath, Pepper, and nearby)
- Integrity, reliability, and a genuine interest in technology
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with camera installation (security systems, smart cameras)
- Practical knowledge of “Mobilate Maintenance” or similar smart home platforms
- Prior work in a partner or co-owner capacity, or interest in growing with a small, dynamic team
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a bonus
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Flexible work structure: choose between employee or partner paths, with opportunities to shape your role
