About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment and loves the rhythm of a busy restaurant? If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be at the heart of a bustling seafood kitchen in the vibrant Jumeira district, this might be your next great move. We’re searching for an experienced executive who enjoys orchestrating the seamless journey of each order—from the moment a customer places it, right through to that satisfying last delivery to the dining hall. If you have a knack for multitasking and a genuine passion for customer service, we’d love to meet you.

About the Company

Nestled in the heart of Jumeira, our seafood restaurant has become something of a neighborhood staple for locals and visitors alike. We’re a close-knit team with a shared love for fresh flavors, hospitality, and that little extra something that turns a meal into a memorable experience. Our staff meetings often end with a taste-test of the chef’s latest catch, and we’re known for our friendly, energetic atmosphere—both in the kitchen and out on the floor. Here, everyone’s input matters, and every role is valued.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing the order lifecycle: ensuring every customer’s request is received, accurately logged, and prepared just so.
  • Coordinating closely with the kitchen team to communicate customer preferences and special requests—no detail is too small.
  • Monitoring preparation timelines to keep service running smoothly, even during the dinner rush.
  • Personally ensuring that finished dishes make their way promptly to the right hall or table, looking (and tasting) their best.
  • Acting as a point of contact between front-of-house and kitchen staff, smoothing out any wrinkles before they become problems.
  • Providing a welcoming and professional presence for customers, answering questions and handling concerns with a smile.
  • Using WhatsApp for efficient team updates and order tracking (and yes, the chef does send the occasional GIF).

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting—ideally with seafood, but any fast-paced service will set you up for success.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat.
  • A customer-first attitude and approachable communication style.
  • Familiarity with basic order management systems or digital communication tools (like WhatsApp).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in Jumeira or similar high-traffic dining areas.
  • A genuine love of seafood (it helps when you’re recommending the day’s catch!).
  • Comfort with basic problem-solving—thinking on your feet is a plus.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive pay and a supportive team that feels like family (with family meal tastings, too).
  • A lively, welcoming work environment—no two days (or orders) are quite the same.
  • Opportunities to grow with us as we expand our offerings and reach.
  • Staff discounts on some of the freshest seafood in town—yes, really.
  • Flexible scheduling for a better work-life balance.
  • We’re a “no egos, just great service” kind of place, where your contributions truly matter.

If you’re looking for a role where your attention to detail and passion for service make a real impact, you’ll feel right at home here.
