About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to be the reason someone smiles before 9 a.m.? As our new Barista in bustling Al Rigga, Dubai, you’ll be that person—serving expertly crafted coffees and delightful teas with a personal touch. This isn’t just about espresso shots (though you’ll pull a mean one); it’s about making mornings brighter and afternoons warmer, one perfectly poured cup at a time. If you’re passionate about customer service and thrive in lively spaces, this role could be your next great adventure.
About the Company
Our café isn’t just another spot on the map—it’s become something like a second home for regulars and a happy discovery for new faces. We’ve built a close-knit, energetic team who help each other out, laugh often, and take pride in a menu we genuinely love. Around here, the playlist is upbeat, the atmosphere is welcoming, and “just coffee” always comes with a smile or, sometimes, a story. We believe in small moments of joy (ask us about our secret latte art competitions!) and lasting connections with our community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting customers warmly and helping them decide on their picks—sometimes, it’s all about knowing who needs an extra shot.
- Preparing and serving a range of drinks: think classic espresso, frothy cappuccinos, and our house specialty mixes.
- Mastering the use of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with confidence.
- Taking orders efficiently and ringing them up accurately, even when the queue stretches to the door.
- Keeping the bar area, counter, and equipment spotless—because a clean café is a happy café.
- Replenishing ingredients and supplies throughout your shift so we never run out of the good stuff.
- Working closely with your teammates to keep service smooth, even when it’s busy (and it does get busy!).
- Answering questions from curious customers—sometimes it's about beans, sometimes about the best dessert pairing.
