About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it feels like to be at the frontlines of building a city’s future? As our next Business Development Manager (Infrastructure & Large-Scale Construction), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the urban landscape of Abu Dhabi. In this high-impact role, you’ll not only spot opportunities in infrastructure and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), but also turn them into headline-making projects. If you’re eager to see your work take physical shape on a skyline, this might just be your kind of challenge.

About the Company

We’re a fast-growing player in Abu Dhabi’s dynamic construction scene, known for taking on ambitious infrastructure and large-scale engineering projects that truly move the needle. Our team blends experience from global EPCs with a uniquely local drive—here, your ideas actually get traction. Whether we’re debating project pipelines over karak or sharing progress in lively stand-ups, there’s an unspoken spirit: make things that last, together. We’re big on collaboration, transparency, and celebrating even the small wins—oh, and construction puns are always welcome.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Researching and tracking upcoming infrastructure and EPC projects across the UAE (and sometimes beyond), keeping a finger on the industry’s pulse.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers—think government entities, consultants, and international partners.
  • Preparing tailored presentations, proposals, and pitches that don’t just tick boxes but win hearts (and contracts).
  • Leading bid strategy development with cross-functional teams, ensuring submissions are both competitive and compelling.
  • Negotiating contract terms with clients and partners—balancing business goals with long-term partnerships.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor moves, identifying threats and, more importantly, new avenues for growth.
  • Reporting regularly to the General Manager on pipeline status, deal progress, and strategic recommendations.
  • Championing our brand and integrity in every external interaction—helping make us the partner of choice in the region.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales, specifically within Infrastructure, EPC, or large civil projects.
  • A strong network in the Gulf construction market, especially in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and spoken (English a must, Arabic is a big plus).
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and contracts—yes, you can translate “engineer-speak.”
  • Demonstrated success in winning complex, high-value bids.
  • Comfort working independently and in cross-functional teams, often on tight deadlines.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Engineering or technical degree related to civil/construction fields.
  • Experience with public/private sector procurement processes.
  • A nose for strategy—always two steps ahead of the competition.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive compensation with a results-driven bonus structure.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid remote options—yes, we trust you.
  • A collaborative, multinational team that’s passionate about making a visible impact on Abu Dhabi’s future.
  • Professional growth through mentorship programs and exposure to industry-leading projects.
  • Regular social events, team lunches, and “hard hat” site days (always memorable).
  • Health insurance and wellness perks—we want you at your best.

Here, your work doesn’t just win contracts. It reshapes skylines and creates legacies. We can’t wait to meet the next force behind our biggest successes.

  • Give an example of how you’ve championed your company’s brand in external meetings or proposals. What impact did it have on the outcome?
  • How would you leverage your network in the Gulf construction industry to generate new leads or strategic partnerships for our team?

  • Working with us may include hybrid remote options and flexible hours. How do you stay motivated and productive while balancing autonomy with collaboration?
